  • Capacitors checked with high quality ESR Meter for operating compliance.
  • N64RGBv1 Universal RGB Board by Borti4938
  • RGB Color Changing LED
  • New TroggTech Funtastic Crystal Shell (stickers moved)
  • Region Free Cartridge Box
  • OEM Nintendo Power Supply (Tested)
  • Standard AV Cables (New Third Party)
  • New Black Nintendo 64 Controller (Not OEM)
The Borti4938 N64RGBv1 Universal RGB Board offers RGB output from the AV Multi out port, as well as the Deblur function that increases the sharpness of most N64 games. It also has IGR (in game routines) functionality enabled which allows you to reset the console and manually turn deblur on and off from the controller in controller port 1 using button combinations. This version of the kit also integrates Borti’s 3.3v Voltage Regulator circuit into it’s design. The N64’s stock 3.3v rail is very noisy, with high frequency noise produced by the audio circuit and controller inputs leaking into the power rail. As a result this produces unwanted noise in the RGB video output on any board that doesn’t have a separate 3.3v power regulator installed. This version of the RGB kit eliminates this problem by integrating a dedicated 3.3v Voltage Regulator directly on board for clean power input and noise free video output.

The button combinations for features are:
  • Reset Game: Hold Start+Z+R+A+B
  • Turn Deblur Off: Hold Start+Z+R+C-Left
  • Turn Deblur On: Hold Start+Z+R+C-Right
  • Turn 15bit Color on: Hold Start+Z+R+C-up
  • Turn 15bit Color off: Hold Start+Z+R+C-Down
This should work with TTL C-sync SCART cables and sync on luma. The optional HDRetrovision Component Cables are the best way to enjoy the system connected to Component directly to your TV or better yet upscalers like the RetroTink.
