Accessibility Statement: Gamer Ghosts LLC
Gamer Ghosts LLC sells refurbished and modified retro video game consoles, along with parts, repair kits, replacement fans, and reproduction labels. We sell through our online store at shop.gamerghosts.com and through marketplaces including eBay and Etsy.
Our commitment. We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to browse our products, understand what they’re buying, and complete a purchase. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act.
How we make our service accessible.
- Listings describe each item in text, including its condition, what’s included, compatibility, and any modifications, so important details aren’t conveyed only through photos.
- Our store runs on Shopify, and our marketplace listings are hosted by eBay and Etsy. Search, checkout, payment, and account features are provided by those platforms, which maintain their own accessibility programs.
Known limitations. Product photos may not always include text descriptions, and the cosmetic condition of used hardware can be easier to judge visually. We’re glad to describe any item in detail on request. Please also note that original retro consoles were designed decades ago and are not built to modern accessibility standards; we do not alter them for accessibility unless a listing says so.
Contact and alternative formats. If you have trouble using any part of our store, or need product information in another format, email support@gamerghosts.com. We aim to respond within two business days.
Enforcement. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the authority responsible for the European Accessibility Act in your EU member state.
