Nintendo GameCube Replacement Lid Switch with Bypass - by Garrett Boyd

It's a tale as old as the GameCube. The top gets put on with the lid closed and it leads to breaking the lid open detection switch. A spill, grime get into the switch or just from wear the switch goes bad. These switches are hard or expensive to find. We've got you covered!

With permission from the part's creator - Garrett Boyd (https://www.instagram.com/garrettbboyd) we are proud to produce brand new with features replacement lid detector switches.

These switches are nearly identical to the originals with the addition of including a bypass switch. The switch lets you force the lid closed at all times which is super convenient for testing and other purposes. The connector is a perfect fit for the original.

These switches are open source and designed by Garrett Boyd, We have reached out to him and gained permission to make and sell them, though you can also make them yourselves! You can find the GitHub with gerbers and part information here: https://github.com/GarrettBBoyd/GCLidSwitch.
